katieroberts.com.au Review and Discounts

A website of Katie Roberts offers a really wide range of career services both for individuals and corporate clients. In white and pink design they advertise their services which include career coaching, trainings and testing. It appealed to me that on the site they transparently give the information about their resume writers and coaches.

Price policy

The site does not have a separate page with prices. You can see the prices under the description of each type of service. A resume for an experienced professional will cost $375 and another $150 you’ll need to pay for a cover letter. They also can work on your LinkedIn, but is so expensive – $495 per profile completion. Executive career coaching is $475.

Order details

First of all, I filled in an online form. They got in touch with me in less than an hour and told their final quote, which turned out to be a bit more than advertised on the site. After the payment the writer contacts you as usual and asks more questions about your past employment, goals, etc. However, this site only offers two revisions – if after the second you’re not satisfied, nobody will make amendments for you.

Quality of writing and support

For a customer support, they have a phone number and an email. I called them only once to know about the delivery of the first draft, and they replied that the draft will be delivered in 2 days. So, four days from the moment of placing an order have passed until I got my resume and cover letter. Talking with the writer was really pleasant, as my writer turned out to be very polite and optimistic person. However, I needed a lot of amendments in my first draft. Maybe, that’s because I’m based outside the Australia?

Conclusion

This site makes a difference by offering a range of trainings for companies. Personally for me the experience of using this site was confusing. No, it’s not about the quality of writing. Firstly, LinkedIn services are definitely overpriced here. Secondly, it seems that the writer doesn’t quite understand the specifics of resume writing for American clients. The resume is good, but obviously written by a non-American writer. That’s why the next time I’ll use one of the US based services like this Site.
