This site has strict and professional design. They offer you help of expert resume writers and individual approach. They also provide a 60 days interview guarantee. But the main thing that influenced my decision was samples; I checked them and thought it would be great if they write for me a resume like one of those. I know for sure that many people now buy services of resume writing, so I didn’t even consider writing resume on my own. In comparison to a professional resume the one that you wrote on your own is not competitive.
Price policy
The prices, to my surprise, were quite affordable. For instance, entry level resume is $199, professional is $155, and the executive is $245. However, not every site has different charges for various career levels – Resume Online has the same price for resume writing, not depending on how many years of experience you have. LinkedIn profile completion costs $70, and cover letter is $50. So, for my resume and cover letter I totally paid $205.
Details of order
I have sent them my old resume, a couple of certificates and some ads of the jobs I was going to apply for. Then I proceeded with payment and soon got a letter that the writer had been assigned to work on my resume. However, as they didn’t state turnaround time on the site, I had to specify that and heard that my resume would be ready in 4 days. Next day the writer asked some extra questions which my resume probably didn’t cover, and I didn’t hear from him since then.
Quality of writing and support
I was surprised to see there was neither phone number nor live chat on the site. How is one supposed to get in touch with them if any questions arise? And the site itself is not very convenient, and one link on the site simply didn’t work. So I had to wait for 4 days patiently. When I received the package, I read it carefully and noticed that though the resume was well structured, the content was just good. To be honest, I expected something more from and expert service.
Conclusion
The resume and cover letter fulfilled their major tasks, as these documents reflected my qualifications clearly and presented me in a good light. Nevertheless, I still think they could be much better. What is more, the entire process is a real inconvenience, and there are sites with more customer-friendly process. That’s why I don’t think this site deserves high rating.
